Boston Vasalop Classical Ski Race: Feb. 8, 2009 – 9:30am & 10am
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce invites you to a True Nordic Tradition, the Boston Vasalop cross-country ski race at Weston Ski Track. Bring Your Family and Friends - All Levels Welcome! The full Loppet for adults is approximately 5 miles (9 km), there will also be 6km and 3km options, and kids' races are 1km and 1/2 km according to age.
A great outdoor event in the cross country tracks including: All-Day Trail Pass, Starting Fee, Blueberry Soup (Blåbärsoppa), Semlor, Hot Dogs, Coffee, Prizes and more!!

High School Racing & Training Clinic with Bob Fitzpatrick
Taught by expert instructor Bob Fitzpatrick, this six-session clinic will provide advanced training in skate-ski techniques, including V-2, V-1, double-pole starting, plus classical technique and ski waxing, race strategy, and drills to improve core strength and race speed. The class is designed for new racers and experienced high schoolers alike. Don't miss the Dec. 15 class, which will cover waxing and core strength and doesn't require snow.
