Kids Cross-Country Skiing Instruction 2012-2013

What better way to keep children interested in learning than through fun and games? Therefore, our approach to teaching children to ski is based on just that — games that make learning to ski a whole lot of fun. Our selection of classes is taught by instructors who love skiing as well as teaching children. Kids' lessons are open to children ages 6 to 10 — older kids (ages 11 and up) take our adult lessons and pay discounted rates. If you are looking for a season-long program of instruction, consider the Bill Koch Youth Ski League.


Kids Beginner Lesson (ages 6-10)
This one-and-a-quarter-hour lesson is designed to introduce kids to the fun of gliding on snow. Small groups of six allow for individual attention. The lesson is designed for children ages 6 to 10.

Classes are offered each day on Weekends and Holidays:

2:00pm (Walk-Ins Only)
If the 10am class is full, or conditions are good, we may add more classes (view schedule).

$20 includes lesson and trail pass.
$28 includes lesson, trail pass, and rental (tax add'l).

Kinder Lesson (ages 4-5)
This one hour lesson is specifically created for kids ages 4 to 5. Our trained instructors teach skills through fun and games, ensuring that your kids learn to love skiing as they learn to ski. Class size is limited to four students, ensuring plenty of individual attention.

Classes are usually offered on weekends and holidays at Noon.

$18 includes lesson and complimentary trail pass.
$26 includes lesson, trail pass, and rental (tax add'l).

Kids Ski Series (ages 6-10)
A series of five one-hour classes introduces children to beginner and intermediate skiing skills. Instruction combined with game playing, having fun, and five weeks of unlimited practice time allows kids to develop their ski skills and an appreciation of the sport. A single adult receives a free trail pass valid for five weeks when accompanied by student.

$94 incl. instruction and complimentary trail passes (student and 1 adult) valid anytime for 5 weeks.
$134 incl. instruction, 5-week trail pass, and 5 weeks of child's rentals (tax add'l).
School Vacation Series (ages 6-10)
A three-day version of our ski series to get the kids outdoors for the snowy February school vacation week. The classes are one hour each day for the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of Presidents' Week. A single adult receives a free trail pass valid for the three class days when accompanied by the student.

$59 incl. instruction and complimentary trail passes (student and 1 adult) valid anytime for 3 days.
$83 incl. instruction, 3-day trail pass (student and 1 adult), and 3 days of child's rentals (tax add'l).
