ACCESSIBILITY AT WESTON
Weston Ski Track believes in access to all outdoor spaces
We have limited funds available for organizations that cannot otherwise afford to come. Please let us know more about your organization's mission and how we can help.
DCR's Accessible Winter Fun Days
Although the DCR Accessible Winter Fun Days are not occurring in the 2020-2021 winter season, if you still want to learn more, please contact Waypoint Adventures: email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (781) 325-7980
Join the DCR's Accessible Recreation program for a chance to get out on the snow! Winter recreation is made accessible for people with disabilities, friends and families by the use of adaptive equipment (including a sit-ski and kicksleds), supportive techniques, and assistance as needed. Adaptive equipment, instruction, and support are provided at no charge. Rental fees for standard equipment may apply.
Adaptive XC Rentals & Lessons
We are committed to providing recreational opportunities to visitors of all abilities. We have sit-skis and kicksleds that are available at no charge; please call us before you come to make sure these will be available.
We can provide rentals and instruction for people with physical, behavioral and intellectual disabilities. Come on your own or with a group to ski or take a lesson with our instructors. First-timers and experienced skiers welcome! Please email us to schedule your outing and find out more about pricing and how we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Facilities at the Ski Track
There is accessible parking: when facing the building from the parking lot, drive up the hill on the right side of the building and there are four parking spaces directly behind the building. There are also accessible bathrooms indoors.
From our rental area directly behind the building, there is about a 30ft walkway out to the snow, some of it is paved, but depending on the snow conditions it could be grassy or muddy.
